Some Tips

The tips provided here are purely out the experiences of many BITSians and people who give the online tests are expected to follow to get a better score.Visit FORUM for complete tips and tricks.

Tip:1

In any written test you have an option to go through the question paper and check for the easier questions,but in an online exam you dont have such an option.You have to check out for every question one after another and it may happen that you may skip some easier questions.So to get good marks it is important that you go through all 150 questions within a time of 2 hours(BITSAT is for 3 hours) and leave out all lengthy questions(this doesnt mean skip every question you attempt..just leave out questions from topics which you have no idea and questions which are taking lots of time).

Tip:2

They will provide you with a booklet for doing the rough work.Use it properly as most of the time you dont find it to be sufficient.

Tip:3

Since it is an online examination you have to spend some time in drwaing the diagrams on to your booklet.For example a circuit.The most important thing is not to waste much time and space in this process and it would be good if u draw these figures in the last pages of the booklet and dont do your rough work there.(I know it looks silly but such small things can do a great deal to get you a good score).

Tip:4

Now the other problem with the above approach is that it is tough to get back to some questions you skipped,especially the rough work you do.So it is very important that you use the booklet in a proper way(I know i am sounding too idiotic).
